It wouldn't be surprising to see Microsoft at the helm of helping Activision reveal the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise. Xbox has long been the go-to console for Call of Duty Runescape players, especially on the competitive scene, so it would behoove Microsoft to keep that relationship intact. Normally, Xbox owners are the first to receive the Runescape game's DLC, as is the case with the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare zombie DLC, Havok, which hits console later this month. Advanced Warfare has received multiple stellar reviews, and is the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to benefit from a longer release cycle. Developed by Sledgehammer Runescape games, the mega hit military FPS will be placed on a three-studio rotation, as reported by Polygon, with the next iterations of the Runescape games developed by Treyarch and Infinity Ward. This gives each studio three years to develop the annual franchise, which will hopefully make the Call of Duty brand better and less stagnant in the future.Whatever this image will end up being, one can assume that we will be hearing about the upcoming Call of Duty game relatively soon. Activision is riding high, as Advanced Warfare was the best selling game of 2014, and the publisher will likely want to add on to that success with Treyarch's addition to the series later this year. The Inquisitr will keep you updated if this story develops further. 'Fable Legends' Windows 10 And Xbox One Cross-Play Detailed, Beta Sign-Ups Available. One of the interesting gaming announcements from Microsoft's Windows 10 event on Wednesday was the reveal of cross-play between PCs running the new operating system and the Xbox One. Fable Legends was used as the demonstration game on stage, and Lionhead Studios provided more details, including a beta opportunity, afterwards. Fable Legends on Windows 10 will share all the same social aspects, matchmaking, and cloud features that will be available to the Runescape game on Xbox One. Both platforms will utilize Xbox One to allow Runescape players from either side of the gaming divide to join together in matches of four heroes versus one dungeon master-like villain as they adventure in Albion.the rs gold Runescape game can be played with the controller or mouse and keyboard on the Windows 10 devices. Fable Legends will even support hot-swapping between the two, and the ability to customize your layout, according to a FAQ published by Lionhead. Don't expect to see Fable Legends on Windows 8 or Windows 7. the Runescape game is exclusive to Windows 10 due to its use of cross-platform play and the DirectX12 graphics API. There's no word on what kind of PC will be needed to run the Runescape game yet, as Lionhead is still working on those details. Just know that a DX12 graphics card is not required to play. Those interested in taking part in the Fable Legends beta can do so by signing up at the Runescape game's website.
