HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- Tony Stewart has run his mouth for almost a month trying to rattle Carl Edwards in the race to NASCARs championship. Edwards has tuned it all out, and on Saturday, he did his talking on the track. Edwards won the pole for Sundays season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where the Sprint Cup Series championship will be decided. Edwards goes into the race with a three-point lead over Stewart, who qualified 15th. One of the two will bring an official end to Jimmie Johnsons record five-year run. Edwards is seeking his first Cup title. Stewart, a two-time champion, is trying to become the first owner/driver to win the title since Alan Kulwicki in 1992. "We were just hoping to start in front of Tony somewhere and preferably the top-five. The pole is a gift," Edwards said. Edwards turned a lap at 175.467 miles per hour in his Roush Fenway Racing Ford. Stewart qualified at 173.332 mph for Stewart-Haas Racing. "Im excited about it," Stewart said. "Im not known to be much of a qualifier, so 15th, Im pretty content." Edwards has done a good job of tuning out Stewarts constant verbal jabs over the last month. After winning four races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship, Stewarts confidence grew and hes tried a variety of one-liners and verbal jabs to get inside Edwards head. Although Edwards seemed to have grown weary of the gamesmanship in a joint news conference Thursday, hes yet to fold to the pressure. Hes got a great history at Homestead and thats helped him stay relaxed. Edwards is a two-time winner at Homestead, is the defending race winner, and has 5.7 average finish in seven races. It has announced two bouts for the show in Denver, which was home to UFC 1 and 2 as well as 135. Wholesale NFL Jerseys . He also played for Finland at the 2012 Under-18 World Championship and finished fourth on the team with eight points in six games. BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Cody Zeller dominated inside. Victor Oladipo had another solid all-around game, and Christian Watford made three more 3-pointers. There was a little defence, too. On nights like these, its easy to see why Indiana is No. 1. Watford scored 21 points, Zeller had 19 points and 19 rebounds, and the top-ranked Hoosiers routed Central Connecticut State 100-69 on Saturday. "I think were playing well, but again I dont think weve even scratched the surface on how good we can be at both ends of the floor," said Oladipo, who had 15 points and held potent scorer Kyle Vinales in check. "I think if we keep (getting better), well continue to play at a high level." Indiana is playing pretty well right now, off to a 9-0 start for the second straight season. The Hoosiers have won 13 straight at Assembly Hall and 27 in a row at home against non-conference foes. This was their third-most lopsided victory of the season, and they seem to be getting more dominant with each game. Indiana shot 54.2 per cent from the field while holding the Blue Devils (4-4) to just 33.3 per cent. Vinales came in leading the country at 25.9 points per game, but was 3 for 15 against the Hoosiers, including an 0-for-4 performance from 3-point range. The sophomore finished with seven points, thanks primarily to Oladipo, who does a lot more than just play defence. He also had nine rebounds, five steals, three blocks, two assists and repeatedly whipped the crowd into a frenzy with highlight-reel dunks and big plays. Oladipos effort was just one part of a balanced effort for the Hoosiers. Jordan Hulls had 10 points and four assists. Yogi Ferrell finished with eight points, six assists and two steals. Reserve Will Sheehey had 12 points and six rebounds. "We came out with a lot of energy tonight, which is always big for us," Zeller said. "You can never come out slow. Like Vic says, its back to the lab, and find out where we messed up and keep on getting better." The matchup was supposed to be an intriguing shootout between two strong offensive teams. Instead, I
