TORONTO -- Slotback Adarius Bowman, who scored two touchdowns to lead the Edmonton Eskimos to victory in their regular-season finale, was named the CFLs offensive player of the week on Monday. Bowman had 10 catches for 226 yards in Edmontons 23-20 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The win clinched the Eskimos second spot in the West Division standings and home-field advantage in the conference semifinal against the Calgary Stampeders. Calgary linebacker Juwan Simpson captured defensive player honours. He registered a career-high 10 tackles in the Stampeders 30-24 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Paul McCallum of the B.C. Lions was named top special-teams player for a fifth time this season. McCallum booted five field goals and four converts in a 43-1 win over the Montreal Alouettes that clinched the Lions top spot in the West Division. McCallum also ended the season as the CFL scoring leader with 203 points. Toronto slotback Andre Durie received the outstanding Canadian award.
