TORONTO - Quarterback Anthony Calvillo, who helped the Montreal Alouettes earn their first win in three games, was named the CFLs Gibsons Finest offensive player of the week Tuesday. Calvillo completed 30-of-36 passes for 349 yards and a touchdown as Montreal beat the Toronto Argonauts 36-23. Calvillo also broke Damon Allens all-time CFL completions record of 5,158 with an 18-yard strike to Brandon London in the first quarter. B.C. Lions linebacker Solomon Elimimian was named the top defensive player. He had 12 tackles and a sack as the Lions earned their first win of the season, a 24-11 decision over the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
