Here is another attempt to project the first round of the upcoming 2009 NDL Draft. (Note: This projection includes a trade where the Jacksonville Jaguars would send the eighth pick to the Denver Broncos for the 12th and 18th picks.)
17. New York Jets - Josh Freeman Luis Scola Jersey Online , Quarterback, Kansas State: The Jets don't have much at quarterback and word is that they like Freeman's big arm. I'd personally go with Kellen Clemens, and they may for a year, but Freeman definitely has a lot of talent.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars - Vontae Davis Luis Scola Youth Jersey , Cornerback, Illinois: By making the trade, the Jags would land two first round-caliber defensive players.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Brian Cushing, Linebacker Luis Scola Women Jersey , USC: The Bucs would likely take Freeman if he was on the board, but perhaps their signing of Byron Leftwich signals that they think the Jets will take the Kansas State product. Cushing would look great next to Barrett Ruud.
20. Detroit Lions - Michael Oher, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss: The Lions need to shore up their offensive line and Oher has major talent. If he can put it all together on the field Luis Scola Swingman Jersey , he could be dominant.
21. Philadelphia Eagles - Knowshon Moreno, Running Back, Georgia: With Oher off the board I think the Eagled would opt for Moreno. He's a versatile back that is being grossly undervalued in my opinion. Ignore his 40 times and watch some game tape. He could be the steal of the draft and take some pressure of Brian Westbrook.
22. Minnesota Vikings - Kenny Britt, Wide Receiver Luis Scola Authentic Jersey , Rutgers: Word is that Britt's stock is on the rise. He's a big receiver that would be a good complement to Bernard Berrian and the Vikings could be a bit shy about taking a guy like Darrius Heyward-Bey based on speed after getting burned by Troy Williamson.
23. New England Patriots - Clay Matthews, Linebacker, USC: Matthews is a hard worker and looked great his USC pro day. He seems to fit the Patriots' mold very well.
