Located in Huayin Town, Mt. Huashan is 120 kilometers (about 75 miles) from Xian. It is popular for natural windows vista of extreme and filter routes for China day tours, precipitous crags and a high hill range. There are three tracks resulting in Huashan's Northern Optimum (1614 m) for Xian day trips, the smallest of the mountain's five significant mountains. The most well-known is the conventional direction in Hua Shan Yu (Hua Shan Gorge), first designed in the 3rd to 4th millennium A.D. and with subsequent development, mostly during the Tang Dynasty. It gusts of wind for 6 km from Huashan town to its northern border peak. A new direction in Huang Pu Yu (Huang Pu Stuff, known as after the hermit Huang Lu Zi who resided in this gorge in 8th millennium BC) follows the wire car to the Northern Optimum, and is actually the historical pathway used before Tang Empire, which has since dropped into disrepair. It had only been known to regional villagers residing close by at the gorges until 1949, when a number of 7 PLA with a regional information used this direction to go up to Northern Optimum and taken over 100 KMT military positioned in Northern Optimum and along the tracks in the conventional direction. This pathway is now known as "The Route Brilliant Take-over of Hua Shan", and was strengthened in beginning 2000. The Cable Car Program channels are designed next to the starting and finishes of this pathway. A second wire car range, to the Western Optimum, was started out in 2013.
