Broncos battered on the offensive line

The Broncos' offensive DeMeco Ryans Authentic Jersey line appears in just as much disarray as the Seahawks, with right tackle Ryan Harris ruled officially out on Friday for the second straight week with an ankle issue and right guard Ben Kuper questionable as well with knee and ankle injuries suffered in the opener.

That means rookie Zane Beadles, a second round draft pick out of Utah, starts at right tackle. Veteran Russ Hochstein, who finished last season on injured reserve after hurting his knee in December, will start at guard in Kuper's spot if he's unable to go.

Kuper hasn't practiced all week and will be a game day decision, Broncos coach Josh McDaniels told reporters in Denver on Friday. By NFL injury rule parlance, questionable means a 50 50 chance of playing.

The Seahawks will be without rookie left tackle Russell Okung for the second straight week with his sprained ankle, while also replacing right guard Max Unger this week after www.eagleso... he went on injured reserve with a toe injury that will require surgery.

The Seahawks also indicated Friday that veteran Chester Pitts is out for Sunday's game, with Pete Carroll telling reporters that neither he nor Okung will make the trip to Denver.

The only other Seahawk in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game is backup linebacker Matt McCoy, who is listed as doubtful with a quad injury that kept him sidelined all week.

Left guard Mike Gibson (back), wide receiver Mike Williams (thigh) and defensive end Chris Clemons (ankle) are all listed as probable and should be good to go.

Tyler Polumbus, released by Denver after starting eight games last season, will make his second straight start in place of Okung at left tackle.

Carroll also told reporters that Leroy Hill is ready to go this week after returning from his one game suspension. But Hill faces a possible fine from the league after acknowledging this week that he'd attending Sunday's home opener to cheer on his teammates.
