That "the tranquility of Mountain Qingchengshan ranks No.1 under the heaven" is a title for Mountain Qingchengshan with deep valleys and rolling ridges and peaks for China tourism. Mountain Qingchengshan lies in Dujiang yan municipality, Chengdu Sichuan, and is 54km away from Chengdu. It is a state--level scenic spot and the birthplace of Chinese Taoism.

The Qingcheng Mountain range towers above the Chengdu Plain, and the Mingjiang River flows down one of its slopes, creating a scenic area that covers 200 square kilometers all included in Chengdu travel packages. The mountain range has 36 peaks, and its tallest peak is Laoxiao Ding, at an elevation of 1260 meters above sea level. The peaks stand in a circle like a great wall protecting the city. Trees grow luxuriantly on the mountain, creating greenery all year round and giving it the name Qingcheng Mountain (literally translated as "mountain of green").

As you begin to climb up Mt. Qingcheng you will discover the Jianfu Palace, which was originally constructed in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and was restored on several other occasions through the years. Now, two temples and three compounds also exist here, surrounded by lush ancient vegetation. In front of the Jianfu Palace, a lucid stream winds its way, adding more beauty to the whole environment. Going west for one kilometer (about 0.6 mile), visitors will suddenly be presented with a wooden pavilion that protrudes between a profusion of trees and steep rocks. As a result, most of visitors will have misconception impressions that they are in a large natural painting. If you want to know more about Chinese culture, you can plan Chinese Kung fu Tour for yourself.
