The surging Montreal Canadiens will try to complete a home-and-home sweep when they visit the New Jersey Devils for Wednesdays rematch at Prudential Center. . Watch it live tonight on TSN at 7pm et/4pm pt. You can also listen to the game live on TSN Radio Montreal 690 and TSN.ca/Montreal. The Canadiens notched a 3-2 regulation win over the visiting Devils on Monday, giving Montreal a 6-0-1 record over its past seven contests. The recent hot stretch has pushed the Habs into a tie for second place in the Atlantic Division, three points behind first-place Boston. Montreal will be without forward Rene Bourque, who did not make the trip to New Jersey after sustaining an upper-body injury in Monday nights win. Peter Budaj will get the call in goal. Cory Schneider will get the call for New Jersey tonight after Martin Brodeur yielded three goals on 17 shots in Mondays setback. Schneider has never faced the Canadiens. Montreal won its second game in a row in Mondays close decision against New Jersey. Alex Galchenyuk scored the game-winner for the Habs when he gave the hosts a 3-2 edge with 10:26 left in the third period. After being benched for the third period for an undisciplined penalty in Saturdays victory over Toronto, Galchenyuk earned a bit of redemption with his game-winner on Monday. Alexei Emelin missed the net on a shot from the middle, but Galchenyuk was there to steer the puck into the net on a broken play to give the Canadiens the lead for good. "I wasnt feeling low on Saturday, it happens, its part of the game. I put it behind me. I was definitely excited about this game. I wanted to play good and was happy with that goal," said Galchenyuk. Bourque tallied a goal and an assist in the win, while David Desharnais contributed two helpers. Max Pacioretty provided the other goal for Montreal and Carey Price turned aside 27-of-29 shots to record the victory. Price was particularly sharp in the opening period, when he held the Devils to just one goal on 11 shots. "We werent ready to play in the first period. It could have been 4-0 for the Devils, but Carey kept us in the game. We owe it to our goalies to step up when they bail us out," said Pacioretty. Price improved his career record against the Devils to 8-9-1 and he expects to get the start again in Wednesdays finale. He has a solid 2.39 goals against average and .916 save percentage in 18 career games versus New Jersey. Steve Bernier and Michael Ryder lit the lamp on Monday for New Jersey, which had a two-game winning streak snapped in the opener of this two-game series. "We played well at the start. We missed a couple of open-netters. Their defensemen made a couple of good plays and at the end that is what made the difference," said Brodeur after Mondays loss. Devils forward Adam Henrique left the opener of the home-and-home set with a lower-body injury and is questionable for Wednesdays clash. Henrique is tied for second on New Jersey with six goals this season. The Canadiens have won three of the past four meetings against New Jersey overall, but the Devils have claimed two of the past three encounters in Newark. Montreal has a 7-4-1 road record this season, while the Devils are 5-4-2 as the host. [url=http://www.shopnflonline.net/Black-Friday-Philadelphia-Eagles-Darren-Sprole... Sproles Black Friday Jersey . Although this one was never out of reach until the fourth quarter, the Hornets never had a lead after Chris Pauls layup made it 6-4. . Tsonga fired 11 aces and didnt drop a service game in the match to improve his record to four wins in five tour-level matches against his French compatriot. After Tsonga got the decisive break of the first set in the second game, the second set went with serve until the tiebreaker. The Yankees trailed 4-3 after seven innings before tagging Baltimore relievers Kevin Gausman (2-5) and Francisco Rodriguez for four runs in the eighth to halt a six-game losing streak in Baltimore. Soriano had a solo blast off Orioles starter Miguel Gonzalez earlier in the game, while Mark Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in the triumph, only New Yorks second in its past six tilts. .P. Howell. According to MLB.com, the Dodgers and Howell are closing in on a two-year contract with a vesting option for a third.TORONTO -- Prior to Fridays game against Memphis, Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey identified Jose Calderon as one of his "closers" -- a player he trusts to take clutch shots late in games. To that end, the Raptors had the ball in the hands of the right guy against the Grizzlies -- they just didnt get the result they wanted. Calderon missed the potential game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds Friday night as the Raptors dropped a 102-99 decision to Memphis. Torontos 11th loss in the past 15 games may have been one of the most difficult to digest, given that the Raptors outplayed Memphis for long stretches while prevailing in several statistical categories. Calderon acknowledged that he had a good look on the shot, which clanked off the left edge of the rim to propel Memphis to its seventh win in the last eight games. "It felt good when it came out of my hand," said Calderon, who finished with 10 points and nine assists. "If they want me to take it again, Ill take it. It happens." It wasnt the only key miss down the stretch for the Raptors, who watched Linas Kleiza bounce a wide-open 17-footer off the back of the rim with 13.9 seconds left and the Raptors trailing 100-99. That shot came moments after Rudy Gay, who led the Grizzlies with 23 points, put his team ahead for good with a long jumper that was accompanied by a mocking finger to his lips as he ran back down court. Calderon also misfired on a free throw with 1:07 remaining that would have given Toronto a two-point lead. "Linas was probably too open," Casey lamented. "Any how many times is Jose going to miss a free throw? (Its) just a lot of little things (related to) closing out games and game-winning plays." The game wasnt decided until the final minute, but the turning point may have come at the beginning of the second half. Toronto shot 56.8 per cent in the opening 24 minutes buut missed its first four shots of the third quarter, during which the Grizzlies exploded for 11 unanswered points to turn a seven-point deficit into a four-point lead. "We kind of came out in second gear out of the locker-room so we had to call a timeout and address that. "We knew it was coming. A team as tough as Memphis, at some point is going to turn up the heat and they did at the beginning of the third." Toronto also struggled to deal with a swarming Grizzlies defence that ranks near the top of the league in steals, forced turnovers and points off opposing giveaways. At the top of the whiteboard in the Raptors locker room, under the heading "KEYS," was a simple message: Keep turnovers down. That didnt happen. Despite besting the Grizzlies in shooting percentage, rebounds and assists, Toronto was ultimately done in by 16 turnovers which led to 24 Memphis points. "This Memphis team is one of the most mentally tough teams in the league," Casey said. "We had a lead and didnt protect it. We won every category we wanted to except turnovers. "They are a lot like Miami, and when you turn it over they convert on it. That was our bugaboo." Toronto did get a major boost from its bench, which outscored the Grizzlies reserves 54-29 and shot 62.5 percent from the floor. "We played hard, we played well, but we struggled with their bench," said Memphis head coach Lionel Hollins. Notes: Two nights after shooting a season-best nine for 15 from three-point range in New Orleans, Toronto connected on just 6-of-16 attempts from beyond the arc. ... Memphis improved to 10-1 this season against teams below .500. ... Eight different Raptors had at least one assist in the first half. ... The Raptors equalled a season low with just four offensive rebounds. ' ' '
