With negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement between the National Hockey League and NHL Players Association at a standstill, Florida Panthers forward Kris Versteeg joined the Bryan Hayes show on TSN Radio 1050 Toronto to voice his frustration with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and deputy commissioner Bill Daly. "Obviously Im really frustrated, Its not good," said Versteeg. "You do try to look at the best case scenarios moving forward once the CBA does get done and you gotta look for the cancers and you gotta cut out the cancer. "I think when you look at Bill Daly and Bettman theyve been polluting this game for far too long." Versteeg went on to say that Daly and Bettman should be replaced once a new CBA is reached for the good of the fans. "The fans have been left with too many bad tastes in their mouths for too many years and I think when this is all said and done it will be a good time to finally make that happen." Versteeg is the latest player to voice his displeasure with the way CBA talks have been going. Last week, Detroit Red Wings defenceman Ian White sounded off to the media. "I personally think hes an idiot," White said Friday after members of the Red Wings finished a workout. "Since hes come in, hes done nothing but damaged the game. "The moves hes made, teams that are struggling seem to be ones he put in places where theres not viable markets for hockey. "Three lockouts. I dont know if hes in control of the owners or what hes saying," White continued. "Eight of the owners have to agree to have something passed - youd think it would be at least 50 per cent. It just doesnt seem like theyre running a democratic process, if you will." On November 10, New Jersey Devils enforcer Krys Barch took to Twitter and let his feelings be known. "I wonder if the owners of Boston, New York, Washington, etc., etch., have endured any of the injuries that I or any other player in the NHL have endured," Barch wrote on his Twitter account. "Still they probably sit (there) smoking the same brand of cigar, sipping the same cognac and going on vacation to one of five houses they own...while we sit here knowing the want to take 20% of our paychecks. One half to 3/4 of my peers will have to work, for the next 50 years of their lives. "Congratulations to the lucky select few that I have played with who have made salaries that they can choose to do whatever they want when they are done. But I have played (with most) who do not!" The NHL lockout has now stretched into a third month and games through December 1 have all been cancelled. . Kerry, While the TSN panel and the rest of the hockey world is busy discussing the tying goal in last nights contest between the Sabres and Leafs, my question to you has to do with the fourth goal scored by Buffalo! After watching the replay, it appears to me that Alexander Sulzer pushed Ben Scrivens pad into the net along with the puck.ST. JOHNS, N.L. -- Jason Jaffray is the first to admit he isnt very good in a shootout, but the St. Johns IceCaps captain didnt look out of place in the spotlight Friday. Jaffray scored the final goal of the shootout to lift St. Johns to a 4-3 win over the Albany Devils in American Hockey League play. "Its a little nerve-wracking, but you try not to think about it too much," Jaffray said. "I tried not to think about a move going down and take what the goalie gave me. (Keith Kinkaid) waited me out pretty good, but I had a little bit more patience at the end and slid it into the far corner." Alex Burmistrov also scored in the shootout, while Raymond Sawada, Carl Klingberg and Zach Redmond had goals in regulation for St. Johns (6-7-0). Albany (3-5-3) had goals from Jay Leach, Adam Henrique and Jacob Josefson, while Mattias Tedenby scored in the shootout. IceCaps head coach Keith McCambridge praised goaltender Mark Dekanich after the shootout. "(Dekanich) was really good. I thought he made some real key saves for us," said McCambridge. "In the third period he made a point-blank one, and the save he made in the shootout to stretch post-to-post across the crease was a real difference maker in that shootout." The first period was exactly what was expected from a game between the two weakest offences in the league coming into the game, with St. Johns averaging 2.08 goals per game and Albany averaging two. The teams combined for 13 shots, and no goals were scored. The game jumped to life early in the second period when Sawada opened the scoring at 1:54. Sawada buried a cross-ice pass from Maxime Macenauer while he was falling to the ice. McCambridge said the checking line of Macenauer, John Allbert and Sawada has been good in all situations for the IceCaps since Sawada returned from an injury five games ago.dddddddddddd. "They have been really good for us. They have been our energy line and they create chances on the offensive side of the puck," said McCambridge. "Any time I put those guys out there five-on-five they seem to try to get that momentum back on our side, so a nice card to have in your pocket." St. Johns added to its lead at 8:09. Klingberg skated down the right boards and buried a low wrist shot past Kinkaid, who fi
