ABS STANDARD ON 2 NAVISTAR SERIES


CHICAGO Navistar International Transportation Corp. will standardize Bendix Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys anti Wholesale Jerseys lock brake systems on its 1995 model 8000 and 9000 series heavy tractors, beginning in June.

Intertransport will handle Mack products as Mackruss. It will establish an office in Moscow and several satellite operations in Russia to sell and distribute the Mack product line, providing parts and service support.


John Mirsepahi, Mack vice president for international operations, said there is a huge market potential for the firm's products in the former Soviet republics.


Bus group joins truck association


LIVONIA, Mich. The 10 member Mid Size Bus Manufacturers Association has joined the National Truck Equipment Association based here.


The Mid Size Bus group includes Supreme Corp.'s Startrans Bus Division in Goshen, Ind.; New Goshen Coach Division of Warrick Industries Inc. in Elkhart, Ind.; and Champion Motor Coach Inc. in Imlay City, Mich. The companies generally produce passenger motor coaches less than 40 feet long rated at 30,000 pounds or less.


The National Truck Equipment Association has eight other affiliates and more than 1,500 members that produce, distribute, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies and equipment.


WASHINGTON Truck traffic surged in the third quarter of 1993 after six months of declining shipments, and motor carriers' net income grew as operating revenues outpaced expenses, according to the American Trucking Associations.
