PHILADELPHIA - Get ready for another week of Michael Vick or Nick Foles. Given ample opportunity to squash a quarterback controversy, Chip Kelly chose to be evasive. So, the debate continues for the Philadelphia Eagles. Foles filled in nicely for an injured Vick for the second straight week, leading the Eagles (3-3) to a 31-20 win over winless Tampa Bay on Sunday. Next up is a showdown with Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys (3-3) at home. Sole possession of first place in the NFC East is at stake. Will Foles start again or will it be Vick? Kelly fielded 11 straight questions about his QBs during his Monday news conference without giving any definite answers. "Until we know what the health is, Im not saying what anybody or anybody is," Kelly said. "All our decisions on who is going to play is based on health." Vick strained his left hamstring late in the second quarter of a win at the New York Giants last week. Foles stepped in and threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns. The second-year pro was even better against the Buccaneers, passing for 296 yards and three TDs and running in for a score. Before he was injured, Vick was playing well, too. Hes thrown for 1,185 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions, and has 307 yards rushing and two more scores. "All of our decisions are made on whats going to give us the best opportunity to win," Kelly said. "And we have to put healthy guys on the field and make sure we can get a scheme together thats going to help us beat the Cowboys." Issues like this can divide a locker room with teammates choosing sides. Vick and Foles have both said all the right things and been supportive of one another. "I dont see any divisions or one side going one way or another side going another," Kelly said. "Mike wasnt 100 per cent on Sunday, and Nick did an outstanding job. And I said when this whole thing started, we were fortunate that we had two quarterbacks and it showed already this season that youve got to have two really good quarterbacks to win in this league and thats what I feel we are right now." Running back LeSean McCoy made it seem that Kelly told the team Vick is the starter when hes healthy. "Mike is the starter, Coach Kelly made that clear, but if he needs Nick to step in and make some plays then hell do that," McCoy said after the win in Tampa Bay. "Mikes the guy we go with, hes the starting quarterback, no matter what the town says or what the outsiders want. Its Coach Kellys call and thats the call hes made." But Kelly disputed McCoys statement. "I have no idea what hes talking about," he said. "Me and LeSean, we didnt talk about anything like that after the game so I dont know where the reference of after the game, I said that, so I dont know." Vick was limited in practice last week, but he was active against the Buccaneers as the No. 3 quarterback. Hamstring injuries are tricky and running is a major part of Vicks game so perhaps an extra week of rest would help. Kelly has no reason to rush Vick back since Foles has played so well. The Eagles have saved their season, have won consecutive games, and there is a feel-good vibe surrounding the club. So the coach has every reason to play it smart. Foles has completed 67.2 per cent of his passes for 542 yards, six TDs, zero interceptions and has a passer rating of 127.9. "I think Mikes legs are a big, important part of his game and thats part of the decision in terms of what he is and what he can do and his effectiveness," Kelly said. "Just how does he run around and how is he in practice, can he execute the way we need him to execute." Vick will get his first chance this week to prove hes ready to go when the Eagles return to practice on Tuesday. __ NOTES: LT Jason Peters, S Patrick Chung and RB Chris Polk each have shoulder injuries and arent expected to practice fully on Tuesday. ... Cunningham and released TE Emil Igwenagu. ___ Online: AP NFL site: http://pro32.ap.org/ ___ Follow Rob Maaddi on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AP_RobMaaddi Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse . "We have to make this place a living hell for [opponents] to come play here," the Raptors general manager pleaded. So far its been anything but. "We have far more focus on the road than we do at home and that is a concern," coach Dwane Casey said after his team dropped to 4-8 at the ACC, losing another heartbreaker, 104-102 to the Bobcats in overtime Wednesday. Nike Air Max Thea Schweiz . Joakim Andersson and Luke Glendening also scored for Detroit. Pavel Datsyuk had two assists and Jimmy Howard made 17 saves. Nazem Kadri and Joffrey Lupul scored for Toronto. Jake Gardiner had two assists and Jonathan Bernier stopped 32 shots. .J. -- New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller and wide receiver Chaz Schilens did not travel with the team and will not play in the season finale Sunday at Buffalo because of injuries.BALTIMORE -- Brett Lawrie has been in the majors for a month, and the Baltimore Orioles already have seen enough of the kid from Canada. Lawrie hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth inning, Yunel Escobar had his second straight four-hit game, and the Toronto Blue Jays defeated Baltimore 8-6 on Thursday. Lawrie made his debut at Camden Yards on Aug. 5. Since that time, he leads all rookies in homers (seven), triples (four) and extra-base hits (17). "Lawrie continues to play and swing the bat as good as you can expect," acting manager Don Wakamatsu said. Given his .340 batting average, its safe to say the Langley, B.C., native has exceeded expectations. "No doubt," Wakamatsu said. "You cant sell him short." Especially when facing Baltimore. Lawrie is batting .417 in six games against the Orioles, all at Camden Yards. In addition, three of his seven homers and eight of his 20 RBIs have come in Baltimore. "Its a home away from home. Its where it all started," Lawrie said. "Well be back here some day." It will be too soon for the Orioles. "Hes a big ol boy," Baltimores Nick Markakis said. "He can swing the stick, no question about that. Their whole team can swing." Kelly Johnson also homered for the Blue Jays, who had 26 runs and 42 hits in taking two of three at Camden Yards. Orioles starter Tommy Hunter allowed six runs, five earned, in six innings. Manager Buck Showalter said the right-hander began feeling ill in the third inning and felt even worse after his performance. "He was throwing up. Hes heading to the hospital," Showalter said. "Im not going to try to say what it is or what it isnt, but he wont make the trip (to Tampa Bay) with us right now." With the score six-all, Johnson drew a walk from Willie Eyre (1-1) and Lawrie followed with his seventh home run. Lawrie went 3 for 5 and scored twice. Escobar was 4 for 5 with two RBIs. The four hits matched a career high. Shawn Camp (2-3) finished the seventh inning, Jon Rauch worked a perfect eighth and Frank Francisco got three straight outs for his 12th save. Vladimir Guerrero and Matt Wieters homered for the Orioles, who rallied from a 6-3 deficit before giving the lead back in the eighth. Guerrero had three hits, a seasoon-high four RBIs and scored twice.dddddddddddd. But Markakis streak of 182 consecutive series with at least one hit ended. Its the first time he went hitless in a series since May 23-25, 2008, in Tampa Bay. The defeat assured Baltimore (54-81) of a 14th straight non-winning season. The game was switched from 7:05 p.m. to 12:35 so the city could finalize plans for the first Baltimore Grand Prix. The change, combined with the lacklustre matchup between the two bottom teams in the AL East, resulted in a meagre crowd of 11,617. Toronto played a seventh straight game without manager John Farrell, who is recovering from pneumonia and wont be with the Jays at Yankee Stadium this weekend. Wakamatsu, Torontos bench coach, is running the team in his place. The Orioles used successive doubles by Guerrero and Wieters to take a 1-0 lead in the second. Toronto responded with a two-run third that began with Hunter walking No. 9 hitter Mike McCoy, who took third on a double by Escobar. Eric Thames followed with a run-scoring groundout and Jose Bautista hit an RBI single. The Blue Jays made it 4-1 in the fourth. After Lawrie and J.P. Arencibia hit consecutive doubles, Escobar singled in a run. Guerrero and Wieters connected in succession in the bottom half, both on 3-2 pitches. It was the fourth time this season that Baltimore hit back-to-back home runs. Johnson led off the sixth with his 20th homer of the season and second in two games. He went 3 for 4 and is 9 for 17 in his last four games. Baltimore closed to 6-5 in the bottom half when starter Luis Perez walked the first two batters and Guerrero hit a two-run double. The Orioles then put runners at second and third with one out before Jesse Litsch retired the side. Guerrero drove in another run in the seventh with a slow roller to shortstop with one out and the bases loaded. NOTES: The Blue Jays activated Rauch (appendicitis) from the 15-day DL. ... The Orioles purchased the contracts of RHP Rick VandenHurk and OF Kyle Hudson from triple-A Norfolk. ... The Blue Jays open a three-game series in New York on Friday. Toronto will start Brandon Morrow, who is averaging a major league-best 10.35 strikeouts per nine innings. ... Baltimore rookie Zach Britton will start Friday night in the opener of a three-game series against Tampa Bay. [url=http://www.cheapchinajerseynfl.us.com/]cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys ' ' '
