Armed robbers strike at Harrogate jewellers


The getaway car, a silver Vauxhall Astra, has since been found abandoned on Valley Road, off Cold Bath Road.


Police are now looking for eye witnesses who may have seen the car as it sped to Cold Bath Road. CCTV footage shows the Astra drive off Parliament Street, Parliament Terrace, Montpellier Hill, before entering Valley Drive.


During its escape along Parliament Street, the vehicle cut across the paths of several other cars and police are appealing for the drivers of these cars to come forward.
