And did you happen to catch the nice ball Kamau Peterson pulled down at the back of the end zone to give his Eskimos the win over Winnipeg last week. It was a higher quality catch than I've seen any Ticat make this season.

Oh, and Peterson has 13 catches, again more than any Ticat.

Jason Goss is playing well in Edmonton and Airabin Justin is starting on the corner for Saskatchewan.

What in the name of Chris Brazzell (eight catches) is going on here?

Is Cat punt returner Jo Jo Walker suffering from a case of dropsy? He is averaging just five yards per return and that's not good enough. Why don't we put Corey Holmes back there for a try? It's not as if he is getting over worked with just seven touches in the past two games.

Getting back to my original point, which ex Ticat do you think will have the best season? Flick, Peterson or Jason Goss?

Cats have to find a way to utilize Corey Holmes more. Holmes had just three touches against Toronto and just four against Montreal. That's not good enough.

Much grumbling in the Cat press box about the Cats third jersey. The white numerals against the gold make it almost impossible to read the numbers from afar. this week. I'd start Jason Maas. There is no sense exposing Timmy Chang to the ferocious Lions' front four and risk having his confidence destroyed.

Boy sure getting tired of these 0 3 starts or worse. Getting back to my original point, the Cats are improving but what will it matter if the club is 0 8 by Labour Day before the wins start to come. The season will be toast by then.

What is it about Steeltown summers that make our team play so poorly. Feel free to wade it because I'm stumped.

Good to see Charlie Taaffe hasn't lost his sense of humor at 0 2.

The former Montreal Alouettes' head coach Taaffe served four seasons in Montreal before leaving after the 2000 campaign was asked whether he would find it special to face his old team on Saturday night.

"I had four great years in Montreal. It was a great experience for me and my family at the time.

"When we first moved there my son (Brian) was a fifth or sixth grader. We moved from Charleston, South Carolina. He had a little southern twang. Next thing you know he is in French immersion," Taaffe laughed at his Cat press conference on Friday.

"He said 'Dad, I got it all figured out.' He said 'Bonjour [url=http://www.fashionshoes.us.com/leather-bloody-mary-120mm-replica1.html]Leat... Bloody Mary 120mm
Y'all eh?'"

Big plays, limited penalties, tough defence. And some more booming Nick Setta punts. Cats will need them all Saturday night.

Got a call from a reader this week with an interesting question. Who is the Cats' backup kicker/punter behind Setta. The answer? Julian Radlein. Middle linebacker Zeke Moreno can apparently punt too.

It appears we have a new Hamilton Hottie in town.

New Hamilton Tiger Cat import receiver Darnerien McCants, who the Cats signed to the practice roster this week, is featured in the April 1 issue of Dr. Hottie Magazine.

And what exactly is Dr. Hottie Magazine? Well, it's described as an online magazine for women who have a discerning eye for the male physique. Funny, I don't think my wife has ever mentioned it to me.

Our man McCants all 6 foot 3 and 210 pounds of sculpted physique was Mr. November in the 2006 Jet Calender, one of Ebony Magazine's 2006 Bachelors and has appeared in recent ediitons of Elan and Protege Magazines.

And when McCants isn't taking his shirt off our newest receiver is crooning about lost loves.

And for women who like the handsome, sensitive types? Well McCants is community minded and hosted the largest one [url=http://www.fashionshoes.us.com/black-python-bloody-mary-120mm-replica.html]... Python Bloody Mary 120mm
day coat drive in the history of the Philadephia Salvation Army.
