lynx professional grill 42 Last week, we posted about Weber. Today, it is professional barbeque?grills. A pro grill is not really defined, but they have a high BTU output and a solid stainless chassis. The product should not weather.

Lynx distinguishes itself from other professional barbeque?grills with a solid, durable?cast brass burner and LED indicator lights. They also feature ceramic briquettes, which increase the heat to the cooking surface and a smoker box is standard as well.

The rotisserie and Pro Sear element (fast searing) are options on the smaller units. They are standard on the larger units. Unlike Weber barbeques, side burners are optional pieces and are not available on the grills themselves.?

Units are available in 27, 30, 36, 42 and 54 inch sizes as either a free standing grill or as a cooktop in an island configuration.

Prices start at $3700. The BTU output is anywhere from 50,000 to a whopping 100,000 BTU on the 54 inch (my lord).

tiffany lamps The show picks up where Equal in Goodness left off, in the middle of the 19th century, when individuality and quality workmanship were expressed through objects such as an ink and watercolor family register from Allen County, a fraktur depicting birds, roses, and tulips, and with dates ranging from 1848 to 1889; a large double-handled salt-glazed water cooler with a cobalt decoration of a bird on a branch, lettered “Harley & Carll/ Ohio Stoneware/Akron O” and dated 1876; and an 1885 paint-decorated blanket chest by Jacob Werrey of Fulton County. Through the next doorway, one steps into the Gilded Age, represented by a pair of ceramic potpourri jars made by the Homer Laughlin China Company of East Liverpool, urn-shaped vessels having white-on-blue ovals depicting Classical figures, reminiscent of Wedgwood’s cameo wares. In contrast, a cast-iron parlor stove made by Perry Stove Company of Salem exemplifies how even the most utilitarian of items were sometimes crafted with a flair, as the stove takes the form of a Second Empire-style house. The next doorway moves visitors to the late 19th century, with the large, clunky furniture of the Victorian era offset by the bright, strong graphics of the period, the latter represented by a number of items related to Ohio’s centennial celebration in 1888, including colorful broadsides printed by the Krebs Lithographing Company of Cincinnati, as well as trade cards given away by merchants in hopes of promoting business. These include one for the Cleveland Dryer Company of Cleveland, which illustrated the transition from log cabins to modern farms, all the while promoting bone phosphate fertilizer. Another doorway, another era, as the Arts and Crafts movement is explored, with Cincinnati art-carved furniture highlighted by a fireplace mantel carved by Henry Fry and a writing desk carved by his son, William Fry. The sunflower motif of the mantel is seen again on a glazed architectural tile by Mary Louise McLaughlin of Cincinnati, one of a variety of pieces of art pottery from makers that include Ohio’s big three: Rookwood, Roseville, and Weller. Arts and Crafts furniture includes a pair of tall-back side chairs by the Shop of the Crafters of Cincinnati, while metalwork is represented by a brass, copper, and enamel sconce by Horace E. Potter of Cleveland and a silver and ivory letter opener by Potter Studio, also of Cleveland. wooden floor lamp Unfortunately Tesla passed away 72 years ago, and he never had the opportunity to see a 3D printer. However, one man, named David Choi, has taken some of Nikola Tesla’s contributions and combined them with 3D printing. “Nikola Tesla’s life and experiments have always intrigued me,” Choi tells 3DPrint.com. “After seeing Tesla Coils light up fluorescent and incandescent bulbs without wires, I was enthralled. I even named my cat Tesla.” tesla3Choi admits that he failed physics in high school, but then decided to pursue it on his own. He majored in physics at Wesleyan University but in his spare time he studied electronic design in his dorm room. He tells us that physics taught him the amazing power of resonance. Because of his love for Tesla, Choi wanted to create something using today’s modern 3D printing technology, based on inventions discovered by Tesla. His creation, called the ‘Wirelessly Powered Tesla Desk Lamp,’ is quite the unique piece. Printed on his MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation 3D printer, the lamp operates at 6.5MHz, and is optimized to power a vintage 25W Tesla light bulb. “The design started with the base of the lamp which is the most critical part,” Choi tells us. “It consists of two separate coils that are inductively coupled to each other. One coil is a spiral form and is capacitively loaded and tuned to resonance. The second coil is simply a loop that follows the circumference of the spiral inductor. 3D printing the base made my life incredibly easy. I first performed calculations to create an inductor that would match with my load (the bulb). Then all I had to do was lay the 1/8″ copper tubing into the spiral form. The rest of the lamp, from the legs to the top have no real geometrical features that present itself in the circuit. It was purely aesthetic, including the vintage Tesla commemorative bulb used.” http://www.woodenlamp.co... Mine was fantastic and for the first time in my life, I wasn’t traveling which made the long weekend relaxing and productive. Since I was in town, I got out the Christmas decorations the day after Turkey Day and went to work. After moving from a much smaller house, we definitely don’t have “enough” decor, so over the weekend I did some shopping for a few new things. One of my favorite purchases was the magnolia garland that is hanging on the mantel…I got it at a local store in Dallas. Our entry, which smells AMAZING thanks to the cinnamon scentted pinecones.zzzzzz I scored the flameless candles from HomeGoods since I’m terrible about remember to blow candles out!I love this little waxed pinecone wreath that I found at the same store as the Magnolia garland. It’s tied up with a 5″ wide satin ribbon.Have you begun decorating for the holidays yet? What are your favorite decor elements? I’m obsessed with lights and ornaments…it seems like I buy all different kinds of both every year! I’m also very into wreaths since they are great to use all around the house. Speaking of which, I’m hoping to get a few Magnolia wreaths. What’s on your list?wholesale table lamps
