INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Canadian rookie Tristan Thompson and top draft pick Kyrie Irving. The team said it finalized the contracts for the Texas freshman from Brampton, Ont., who was picked fourth overall, and Irving -- their No. 1 pick in this years draft -- on Friday before the first training camp practice.
