One of New Balance‘s more popular silhouettes, the new balance femme first originated as a running shoe and now admired as a lifestyle model with an array of colorways to choose from. Sporting its signature suede and mesh construction, the premium upper is enveloped in bright Cadet Blue, while darker tones of Navy are found on the toe box, tongue, collar, portion of the midsole and outsole. Further detailed with a bolder hue of Orange applied on its “N” branding and heel tab, accents of White provide a soft touch, while completing the palette, which is situated on the ENCAP midsole, laces, along the vamp and quarter panels.

As part of New Balance‘s ’90s Outdoor Pack for F/W 2014, the popular new balance homme silhouette has been rendered in a bold, yet subdued palette of Grey, Orange and Blue for a well-rounded balance of bright and dark tones. Comprised of a predominantly Grey upper consisting of suede, leather and mesh, vibrant accents of Orange and Blue are implemented on the “N” branding, inner lining and portion of the midsole to accentuate the silhouette nicely, while resting atop a splattered white midsole unit to finish it all off.

The first we’re going to check out is this White rendition, which is bringing nothing but an entirely White upper. The second rendition, you guessed it, is blacked out–a design that we’ve seen in the game over and over these past two months. Rounding out each look is a gum outsole, keeping these pretty versatile and classic.

The build and design of the new balance 420 femme makes it easy to give the shoe different looks by utilizing different colorway, materials and color blocking. This time around though, New Balance opts to take the subtle route by giving the 574 monochromatic look from head to toe.
