Three weeks in a row this defence scored touchdowns then last week they gave up big plays and did not put points on the board. They have to tighten that up to make up for Jarious Jackson and cut down on the big plays. Chris Schultz: Im going to go with the offensive line. The B.C. Lions are tied for number one in the Canadian Football League with 29 sacks. Guess who is also tied for number one? The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and theyre evenly distributed among their four defensive linemen. The Argonauts offensive line has to play a great game Dave. Second Down: With Buck Pierce healthy, do the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have a chance at making the playoffs? Schultz: I am going to say yes and the single biggest reason: they have already beaten the Hamilton Ticats twice this year. When it comes to that tiebreaker within the division, Winnipeg has the advantage. Yes to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Dunigan: Yes. Buck Pierce is the glue that holds that team together. He puts the swagger back in Swaggerville. Buck Pierce can execute that offence and gives everybody hope on that football team. Stegall: Im going to agree and say yes also, but its not so much about Buck. It has to be Chad Simpson, he has to be the guy on that offence. Buck of course is the momentum, hes going to get them into the playoffs but they have to ride it with Chad. Who is your favourite for the MOP? a.) Anthony Calvillo b.) Travis Lulay c.) Jon Cornish d.) other Dunigan: Travis Lulay. The guy is learning how to win close football games. We dont hear enough about him particularly with his legs. CLEVELAND -- Kyrie Irving has another injury and the Cavaliers have another masked player. Clevelands star point guard, who only recently returned after missing 11 games with a broken finger, fractured a bone in his jaw when he took a hard fall in Friday nights loss at Milwaukee. Irving did not travel with the Cavs to New York so he could be fitted with a protective mask that he will wear in Saturdays game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Irving was injured when he was knocked down in the first quarter by Bucks forward forward Luc Mbah a Moute, who was called for a foul. Irvings face slammed into the floor, and he writhed in pain for several minutes before getting up and making two free throws. He stayed in the game. At the end of the quarter, last seasons NBA rookie of the year sat on the bench with a towel on his face, but he played 36 minutes and finished with a team-high 26 points. Following the game, the Cavs indicated Irving would be on the flight to New York, but a CT scan at the Cleveland Clinic revealed what the team described as "a small left maxillary fracture." Cavs forwards Tristan Thompson and Tyler Zeller are already wearing plastic protective masks for facial injuries sustained earlier this season. This is the latest injury for Irving, who broke his hand this summer when he slapped a padded wall in frustration during a practice in Las Vegas.
