HOUSTON -- The Houston Astros are quickly getting accustomed to celebrating walk-off wins. . After earning their first walk-off win of the season Friday, the Astros followed it up with their first extra-inning win Saturday night. Scott Moore hit an RBI single with none out in the bottom of the 10th inning, lifting the Astros to a 6-5 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Moore, who came to bat with runners on third with less than two outs twice before in the game and was unable to capitalize, was happy to get his first career walk-off hit. "I was just trying to get a pitch out over the plate to put the barrel on," Moore said. "If I could get the ball in the outfield, there is a good chance we are going to score. I was in that situation like three times tonight, and fortunately, I was able to come through the last one." Jose Altuve led off the 10th with an infield single off Jim Henderson (0-1). Marwin Gonzalez and Steve Pearce followed with walks to load the bases before Moore singled, giving Houston consecutive wins for the first time since June 26-27. "It was nice to do it in back to back nights," Houston manager Brad Mills said. "When you dont do it all season and you do it in back to back nights, thats really nice and everyone enjoys it." The Astros were 0-11 in extra innings before Fridays win. Milwaukee rallied to tie the game three times, sending it to extras on Jean Seguras RBI groundout in the ninth inning. Rickie Weeks led off the ninth with a double off Wilton Lopez (5-1). "(Henderson) did his job the first inning and we put him back out there, but hes not going to be perfect all the time," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "I thought we did a nice job of battling back and scoring runs once we got behind." Dallas Keuchel allowed four runs -- two earned -- on five hits with a career-high six strikeouts for Houston. Keuchel struck out six batters in his four starts in July and had allowed 27 runs -- 25 earned -- over 25 innings in his last five outings. "Its nice to be able to go out there and command the ball to both sides of the plate and up and down," Keuchel said. "I felt good from the get go." Marco Estrada lasted only four innings for Milwaukee, allowing four runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. Estrada has not won since Aug. 23, 2011. "I just felt completely out of whack out there," Estrada said. "It was the worst Ive felt all year, and I let a bad team beat me." Tyler Greene put Houston ahead 5-4 with a solo home run to right-centre in the fifth off Livan Hernandez. Greene, who was acquired on Thursday by the Astros from St. Louis for a player to be named or cash, had a double and scored twice in his first start with Houston. The Brewers loaded the bases in the seventh with two outs, but Mickey Storey struck Carlos Gomez out looking to end the threat. After the inning, Gomez was ejected by home plate umpire Gary Darling for arguing the called third strike. After the game, Gomez went on a profanity-laced rant mostly directed toward Darling. "I have never gotten thrown out in my career, but that guy, I had to tell something," Gomez said. Milwaukee tied it at 4-apiece in the fifth on a two-run double by Norichika Aoki scoring Jonathan Lucroy, who had doubled, and Segura, who had singled. Altuve singled with one out and stole second before Brett Wallace singled to right field in the third. An error by Aoki allowed Altuve to score. Pearce followed with an RBI triple to lift the lead to 4-2. The Brewers tied it 2-all, capitalizing on an error by Wallace. After Aramis Ramirez singled and stole second to begin the inning, Corey Hart grounded to third, but Wallaces throw to first went high, allowing Hart to move to second and Ramirez to score. Hart scored two batters later on a Lucroy sacrifice fly. Houston jumped on Estrada early as Greene led off with a double and Altuve singled. After a wild pitch allowed Altuve to move to second, Wallace popped out to the catcher. Pearce followed with a two-run single to centre to give Houston a 2-0 lead. He just feared his swing might be rusty. Freeman homered and drove in three runs in his return to the lineup to help the Atlanta Braves recover after blowing a five-run lead and beat the St. Louis Cardinals 10-7 on Wednesday night. Freeman, who had missed four straight starts because of vision problems, was elated about receiving his new sports glasses before the game. He was so excited he rushed to the batting cage early Wednesday afternoon to test the glasses before taking off the shorts and polo shirt he wore to the stadium. The first baseman broke out of a slump with three hits: his eighth homer in the first, a run-scoring double in the third and run-scoring single in the eighth. "I was surprised about how I hadnt played in a few days and was able to have my swing like that," Freeman said. "I wasnt worried about the glasses. I knew they were good." Following the game, the Braves optioned rookie shortstop Tyler Pastornicky to Triple-A Gwinnett. Andrelton Simmons, who is hitting .292 at Double-A Mississippi, was called up and is expected to take over the starting job. General manager Frank Wren said Simmons, who is known for his defence, has "special talents" at shortstop. Pastornicky is hitting .248 with seven errors. The Braves, who snapped an eight-game losing streak on Tuesday night, gave up a 5-0 lead, then scored three runs in the sixth. Brian McCanns two-run single highlighted the rally. McCann, who had a two-run homer in the first, drove in four runs. Jonny Venters (3-2) recorded the last out of the sixth. Craig Kimbrel earned his 15th save. "We went through a stretch," Freeman said of the losing streak. "Everybody goes through a stretch in the season. Hopefully that was our longest one. ... Its how you minimize those and we bounced back like a winning team does." After Freemans homer, Tim Hudson and other teammates made circles in front of their eyes, pretending to wear glasses, as they welcomed him to the dugout. Freeman said before the game he didnt care if he looked different in glasses. "I can see and thats all that matters," he said. Hudson said Freeman "came in and did what he did. He plays great first base and hes some of our thump in the lineup." The Braves broke a 5-all tie with three runs on four hits off Mark Rzepczynski (0-3) in the sixth. Jack Wilsons double drove in Jose Constanza, who reached first on his third hit and moved to second on a wild pitch. Wilson was caught in a run-down between third and home on Michael Bourns grounder, but he kept the play going long enough for Bourn to advance to second. Following an intentional walk to Martin Prado, McCann drove in Bourn and Prado with a single for an 8-5 lead. The Cardinals scored two runs off Eric OFlaherty in the eighth off Shane Robinsons sacrifice fly and Carlos Beltrans infield single. The Braves added two runs in the eighth off Jason Motte, who set up the inning with walks to Eric Hinske and Bourn. Dan Uggla drove in one with a sac fly and Freeman finished the scoring by knocking in Bourn. "The bottom line is seven runs should win a lot of games," said Cardinals manager Mike Matheny. "Were not doing what we need to do to give us a chance. Some adjustments have to be made." Atlanta led 5-0 before the Cardinals managed their first hit. McCann hit a two-run homer in the first. One out later, Freeman cleared the centre-field wall off Kyle Lohse. With two outs in the third and Uggla on first base following his single, Freeman hit a high pop fly into the wind, blowing in from left field. Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday sprinted toward the infield but couldnt catch up as the wind blew the ball away from the outfield, dropping in shallow left field for a double that scored Uggla. Constanza added a run-scoring single. Rafael Furcal led off the fourth with a single for the Cardinals first hit. Holliday drove in Furcal with a one-out single. Tyler Greens two-run, bases-loaded single was the big hit in the Cardinals four-run sixth off Hudson. Holliday and Daniel Descalso also had RBI singles. Hudson gave up five runs on six hits in 5 2-3 innings. "Im not happy with my outcome personally," Hudson said. "It seems like the last couple of games every baserunner Ive had has scored." Lohse allowed five runs on nine hits in five innings. Right fielder Skip Schumaker left the game after the sixth inning with tightness in his right hamstring. NOTES: Matheny said RHP Jaime Garcia returned to St. Louis Tuesday for an MRI on his right elbow early Wednesday. Matheny said the MRI was clear, but Garcias scheduled start Friday at the Mets will be skipped. Matheny said Garcia, who had right elbow ligament-replacement surgery in 2008, said the elbow "just felt different." ... 3B David Freese, who did not start for the third straight game due to a sore right wrist, popped out as a pinch-hitter in the seventh and remained in the game. ... Each team is off on Thursday. The Braves open a three-game series at Washington on Friday with LHP Mike Minor perhaps pitching to save his spot in the rotation.
