JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have brought back quarterback Ricky Stanzi and guard Jacques McClendon and waived receivers Jeremy Ebert and Tobais Palmer. The team promoted Ebert and Palmer from the practice squad last week because of injuries to receivers Mike Brown (back) and Stephen Burton (concussion). Both will rejoin the practice squad Wednesday. McClendon opened the season on Jacksonvilles 53-man roster after he was claimed off waivers from Atlanta on Sept. 1. He was waived the last three Saturdays and re-signed the following Monday. Speaking after a two-day orientation seminar with the International Olympic Committee, Japanese Olympic Committee president Tsunekazu Takeda said Friday that plans to build an 80,000-seat stadium are still in place. Japan is scaling down the cost of the planned main stadium following an uproar from some prominent architects who think its too big and expensive, but Takeda said that doesnt mean a smaller facility. "We are aware of the concerns," Takeda said. "But nothing has been decided yet and we still plan to have an 80,000-seat stadium."
