The 20-year-old Machado has been playing with Double-A Bowie this season. Hes batting .266 with 11 homers and 59 RBIs in 109 games. Baltimore selected Machado as a high school player out of Florida. He played in the MLB Futures Game in July, going 1 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Machado was a 2011 South Atlantic League All-Star.
