World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered a heart attack while doing commentary for WWE Monday Night Raw at the Bell Centre in Montreal Monday night. Lawler is a 62-year old Memphis, Tennessee wrestling legend. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his friend William Shatner in 2007. Lawler famously feuded with comedian Andy Kaufman and slapped him on Late Night with David Letterman in 1982. He has been working for the WWE as a commentator and wrestler since 1992. WWE issued the following statement on Tuesday afternoon: "As of this morning, Jerry The King Lawler is in a cardiac care unit and all his vital signs are stable. WWE will provide additional information as it becomes available. We continue to wish Jerry all the best for a full recovery."
