The team of Olga Vilukhina, Olga Zaitseva, Alexey Volkov and Anton Shipulin missed five targets but avoided penalty laps to finish in one hour 13 minutes 33.4 seconds. Jean-Philippe Le Guellec of Shannon, Que., Zina Kocher of Red Deer, Alta., Megan Imrie of Falcon Lake, Man., and Brendan Green of Hay River, N.W.T., finished sixth, the teams best-ever result. "The team has been fantastic this entire tour," said Imrie. "We are very supportive of each other, and everyones made big gains." The Czech Republic missed only three times but finished 27.0 seconds behind in second, and France came another 11.5 back in third with nine shooting mistakes. The mixed relay is being considered for inclusion in the Winter Olympics.
