Colts tell Luck he's their guy Kare... Martin XXL Jersey
Owner Jim Irsay has said the Colts will use the pick on the successor for Peyton Manning, who was released in March.
General manager Ryan Grigson declined on Wednesday to disclose the team's plans, saying only, "We've exhausted the process."
Luck going to the Colts would leave Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III for the Redskins. Washington moved up four spots, to the No. 2 pick, by sending three first round picks and a second round pick to the Rams.
The Vikings own the No. 3 pick. John Brown XXL Jersey GM Rick Spielman said Thursday that they will draft USC left tackle Matt Kalil, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne or Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon.
The Browns have the No. 4 pick, followed by the Bucs.
NFL to talk stadium with Minn. lawmakers
ST. PAUL, Minn. Commissioner Roger Goodell and Steelers owner Art Rooney are scheduled to meet with Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton and legislative leaders at the state Capitol today to discuss the Vikings' hopes for a new stadium.
A state House committee voted down a $975 million bill Monday, dealing a blow to the team's decadelong effort to get taxpayer help for a Metrodome replacement. Dayton spoke with Goodell and Rooney by phone Thursday.
"If (a bill) isn't passed this session, the league itself beyond the Vikings has serious concerns about the viability of the franchise here and the future of it here," Dayton said.
But Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem questioned how seriously lawmakers should take [url=http://www.nflcardinalsofficialshop.com/Kareem_Martin_Jersey_Cardinals]www.... the suggestion that failing to pass a bill this year could lead to the team moving.
"I think we've had this so called warning around here for five or 10 years, so I'm not sure it's a threat," he said. "I think the Vikings are probably going to be around another year or so."
Vikings owner Zygi Wilf declined to [url=http://www.nflcardinalsofficialshop.com/John_Brown_Jersey_Cardinals]nflcard... comment.
49ers: A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a $1.2 billion stadium in Santa Clara, about 40 miles south of San Francisco, set to open in September 2014.
Ravens: Quarterback Curtis Painter, who started eight games for the Colts last season, signed a one year contract. Financial terms weren't disclosed. Painter will compete with Tyrod Taylor to back up Joe Flacco.
