Dmitri Jaskin scored twice, including the game winner, and set up two more as the Moncton Wildcats doubled up the visiting Victoriaville Tigres 4-2 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action. The four points extends the 19-year-olds points streak to 15 games and includes 12 goals and 20 assists. Jaskin now has 45 points in 27 games, which is good for third in league scoring. Allain Saulnier had a goal and an assist for the Wildcats (17-10-0), which gives him four goals and 11 points during a four-game point streak, and Alex Saulnier chipped in three assists. Jonathan Narbonne added a single goal for Moncton, which has won four straight games. Rookie Felix Boucher scored his first QMJHL goal for the Tigres (11-11-5) and Tommy Vielleux scored the other. Moncton goaltender Alex Dubeau stopped 20 shots for his 13th win of the season while at the other end Brandon Whitney turned away 34 shots in a losing cause. Moncton went 3 for 10 on the power play while Victoriaville failed to score on five chances with the man advantage. Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Rimouski 5, Cape Breton 0; Halifax 7, Chicoutimi 1; Rouyn-Noranda 4, Quebec 1; Blainville-Boisbriand 5, Baie-Comeau 2 and Gatineau 5, Drummondville 4 (SO). At Moncton, N.B., the Wildcats and Tigres combined for 27 shots in the first period, however neither club could score in the opening 20 minutes. Jaskin opened the scoring with his 21st goal of the season at 4:56 of the second period while on the power play. Veilleux responded for the Tigres less than four minutes later with his fifth of the year to make it 1-1 heading into the third period. Narbonne scored a power-play goal just 56 seconds into the final period for Moncton, but Boucher tied the game at 5:54.
