'Twas the Night Before a Cardinals ChristmasBlues lose to Sharks 4 2Look who made the Rock 'N Roll Hall of FameScenes from 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues'Warehouse burns south of the Poplar St. BridgeAnchorman 2 red carpet: Don't act like you're not impressedPATRIOTS AT JETSLine Patriots by 3Synopsis NE keeps rolling along while its injury list grows, and now is minus key linebacker Jerod Mayo (torn pectoral muscle), out for the season, and cornerback Aqib Talib (hip), WR Danny Amendola (concussion) and guard Dan Connolly (concussion) are not expected to play. But it looks as if star TE Rob Gronkowski will make his season debut after being out because of arm and back surgeries. NY's secondary is banged up and its rookie QB, Geno Smith, has been intercepted 10 times but gets to work against a depleted NE defense.PATRIOTS 23, JETS 20CHARGERS AT JAGUARSLine Chargers by 7Synopsis SD goes cross country after impressive home win over Indy to face NFL's worst team, but inconsistent Chargers have lost their last two road outings and [url=http://www.nflseahawksofficialonline.com/Kevin_Pierrelouis_Jersey_Seahawks]... JAX has shown a little life in the two games WR Justin Blackmon has played since being suspended for the first four. He has 326 receiving yards in those two, developing a rapport with QB Chad Henne. SD loves to throw, but Jags aren't awful (No. 14) vs. the pass. Jags can stay close, maybe even pull upset here, after covering a 27 point spread last week in Denver.CHARGERS 24, JAGUARS 20TEXANS AT CHIEFSLine Chiefs by 6Synopsis With QB Matt Schaub injured, HOU turns to Case Keenum for his NFL debut and teams whose QB makes his first NFL start are 20 46 over last 7+ seasons, 1 2 this year and Keenum faces the NFL's top rated defense in terms of points allowed (10.8 per game). Also, KC is No. 5 in yards permitted (306.3 an outing). The Texans have the NFL's No. 1 defense (252.8 yards/game allowed) but thanks in large part to turnovers by the offense allow 29.5 points/game, No. 28 in the league. KC lhas five TDs on defense/special teams.CHIEFS 23, TEXANS 10.BENGALS AT LIONSLine Lions by 2Synopsis Defense is Cincinnati's strength (No. 9 vs. both the run and the pass) and will unleash that on Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who threw four TD passes last weekend vs. Buffalo. On the other side, Detroit already has 13 takeaways and will try to harass Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton with defensive end Ndamukong Suh leading the way. The Bengals have sole possession of the AFC North lead for the first time since 2009, but the ride gets bumpier here in noisy Ford Field.LIONS 26, BENGALS 17.BILLS AT DOLPHINSLine Dolphins by 7Synopsis Miami's Ryan Tannehill has been sacked an NFL high 24 times and works against a defense that already has 21 sacks, eight by Mario Williams. The Bills' weakness is their run defense (124.2 per game, No. 26 in the league), but Miami's ground attack is atrocious a measly 69.6 yards per outing. The Dolphins are the better team, but Bills who have the National Football LeagueL's third rated ground game (148.8 yards/game) should be able to hang tough in this contest.DOLPHINS 23, BILLS 20.BEARS AT REDSKINSLine EvenSynopsis WASH tries to avoid falling to 0 3 at home for the first time in 15 years but with a bad defense (24th or worse in all the major statistical categories) it will be tough vs the Jay Cutler led Bears attack that averages 28.7 points per outing, No. 3 in the league. But the CHI "D" isn't as fierce as is its tradition, allowing 26.8 points a game (No. 26) and with Redskins QB Robert Griffin III finally showing some of his old spark, look for an old fashion shootout in this one.
