(SportsNetwork.com) - Eddie Lack will make his first NHL start tonight when the Vancouver Canucks visit the Flames for Calgarys home opener. The Canucks announced the news on their Twitter feed on Sunday afternoon. Vancouver is in a back-to-back game situation where Roberto Luongo backstopped the squad to a 6-2 victory of the Edmonton Oilers last night. For the Flames, the home opener will mark the home debut of rookie centre Sean Monahan. Taken sixth overall by the Flames in the 2013 draft, Monahan picked up an assist in his first NHL game on Thursday, a 5-4 shootout loss in Washington.
