Broncos at Seahawks preseason


Seahawks fans get their first opportunity to clear their throats as the Denver Broncos travel to CenturyLink Field to take on the Hawks and the 12th ... Schofield Authentic Jersey man in each team's second preseason game Saturday night.


The teams last met in Denver almost exactly a year ago, when Russell Wilson completed 10 of 17 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns, staking his claim to the starting quarterback job in a 30 10 Seattle win in Peyton Manning's first home start for the Broncos.


That game, where the Seahawks reserves outscored Denver 21 0, mirrored last week's effort against the Chargers in San Diego. After a fairly pedestrian performance by the starters, Pete Carroll's squad showed off their depth, scoring 24 points in the second half en route to a 31 10 victory.
