Barbieri gets big settlement
Kauii Bob, SO far in less then cheap nfl jerseys 3 months? 14,000 pageviews.
The Andres Beidrens post got over 400 views alone. And any link from Lowell and Son, ups the ante fast. I try not to overdue it. But,14,000 is a lot of pageviews for no real advertising. And some KNBR people still allude to my posts on 50,000 watts September 13th, 2013 4:00 pmI just checked.23 views from blogscohnzone the last 5 hours. But my link on Grant blog has 64 views from 49insiderpressdemocrat. See? real people. Grant has a huge following BTW.
Good for Ralph to get paid.
In that period nearing the end of his run at KNBR, Barbieri was becoming combative, strident in his views, and ungracious to his guests, cutting them off and not giving the audience a chance to evaluate the positions. He was becoming Sports Talks own rant king. Once Ralph got going, he was a runaway train, all of it in a voice that sounded like Porky Pig being electrocuted. During that period I began to tune in less and less, turning KNBR off, when Ralph off A final straw for me was his with Katarina Witt, a classic display of a host without a clue, totally unprepared, an embarrassment. It was time for Ralph to go.
But, damn, do I miss the good times. For many years Ralph and Tom were the not to be missed. They played off each other perfectly Tom would address the physical angles and Ralph the philosophical. Their interviews were deep and revealing. They dispensed with the mundane and dug into the issues, they were a great team, displaying great incite, humor and didn take themselves too seriously.
So here the thing. Now that Ralph is out I hardly listen to KNBR at all. I tried the prime drive time slot and it Wholesale NFL Jerseys pales by comparison to Ralph and Tom, it seems tepid and lacks luster.
I miss the old Ralph. Long live the king.

As usual Dr. Feelgood makes some excellent points, but if I interpreting it properly I do disagree with his cheap nfl jerseys opening sentence. Why is it good that Ralph got paid? The good doctor cites correctly that Ralph essentially mailed it in for his last years at KNBR, often arriving late and completely unprepared for his show. During that time (five years?) Ralph was paid a salary (reportedly between $300 500k/year) most of us will never make. He was paid based on past performance. Did his illness contribute to his decline? Perhaps, but I find it hard to believe that it did so for five plus years. For that period, Ralph was living off his reputation, not his talent. Did Ralph reveal that his illness might interfere with his ability to perform his job BEFORE his last contract negotiation? I doubt it. As I understand it, Cumulus was willing to pay him the remainder of his contract. Since when can a company fire someone for non performance without the threat of a lawsuit? Like the doctor I no longer listen to KNBR sports talk it become boring; the topics are tedious and the hosts self absorbed. But that not a reason to pay off Ralph.
I do question Lieberman report and you should too, Lowell. He claims it is based on one anonymous source. 101: double source (at the least) every story before printing it. Granted, blogs don have that constraint and bloggers aren bound by journalistic integrity, but I skeptical about this so called settlement as by Lieberman.
