The San Francisco 49ers will try to get back on track with their 2014 Super Bowl aspirations as they visit the St. Louis Rams. Tight end Vernon Davis missed last weekend's game due to a hamstring injury and could be out again tonight.

Meanwhile, Kaepernick has struggled since the opening win, and currently has 689 yards with 3 touchdowns on 53 of 94 completions. Frank Gore is leading the team in rushing with 142 yards on 41 carries, while Anquan Boldin has racked up 282 yards and a touchdown on 19 receptions. Kaepernick will look to get back that momentum he and the team showed last season en route to a new Super Bowl championship win against the Ravens.


For tonight's game, the 49ers are listed as 3 1/2 point favorites with the over/under set at about 42 1/2 points for the combined score from the two sides. In 2012, these teams had a classic overtime game which ended in a 24 24 tie. They would meet again on Dec. 2 of the season with the Rams taking the win 16 13 in overtime.
