A big HI to all, how is everything going? Well, I hope! We recently had a new addition to our family in June a baby girl, so my hands are pretty full! But happily so. However, a dear couple at church was getting married and expressed that they would really love to have a cake by us, so, of course, it is an honour to help!

I had my usual sit down consultation with the bride, Grace, to find out what her preferences were. She wanted something sweet, simple, but she also wanted a touch of intricate piping. So I tried to combine the elements together, and here we have it!I love how it turned out.

The couple writes:

We wanted a cake that fitted the colour theme of green, white and pink.

You knew exactly what we wanted and even more! From the intricately

handcrafted design: colourful strips, royal icing floral pattern and

green polka dots, down to the flavors, everything was executed

perfectly! Especially loved the mud cake, we even ask my sister to grab

some once the cake is cut before the guests polished off everything;

which ... they did in record time!!

Thank you for the beautiful and delicious wedding cake. It was really a dream come true.

Our newest 6 year old got a special cake this year. We asked him what cake he would like, and he said, Little Bear.

Anyone else out there who childhood favourite is Little Bear? I [url=http://www.lionsauthenticofficial.com/authentic-travis-swanson-jersey.html]... Swanson Jersey do love for my kids to to watch Little Bear because of the wholesome values (family, friendship) and good music.

We especially love the episode Hop Frog Pond (see link at the end of the post!) and we decided to re create the scene of the friends playing at the pond, complete with the mudslide!

This was another Sculpey intensive cake and my children got in on the action! Many thanks to Bestest Sculpeying buddy, Carol, for her patience in teaching the kids! (And she made Emily too, besides others . )

Owl was mostly done by my almost 12 year old. Good Job, Son!

the end of the episode, Emily plants an acorn that will one day grow into a mighty oak tree. That is our wish for our dear son, to have a long and fruitful life. walking with God.
