The three hour special will feature performances from country music's biggest superstars during the annual CMA Fest held in June.
Reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, will reprise their role as hosts again this year. This marks the tenth year the special will air on ABC.
Performers already announced include: Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert, Carrie Underwood, Cole Swindell, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Gwen Sebastian, Hunter Hayes, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Lzzy Hale, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, and Thomas Rhett.
Several artists teamed up for unforgettable duets during the sold out festival.
Eric Church told the crowd, "We had so much fun this song that we had to do it tonight."
The country hitmaker then brought out rocker Lzzy Hale of Halestorm for an electrifying rendition of "That's Damn Rock and Roll" from Church's "The Outsiders" album.
Blake Shelton, a four time Male Vocalist of the Year winner, performs "My Eyes" with former "The Voice" contestant Gwen Sebastian. The pair recently scored a number one single on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with their summer time smash.
Two of country music's leading ladies, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, brought the crowd to deafening screams when they graced the stage together. The powerhouse duo's [url=http://www.brownsofficialnflauthentic.com/authentic-johnny-manziel-jersey.h... Manziel L Jersey feisty "Somethin' Bad" was a definite highlight of the festival.
Additional acts will be announced by the Country Music Association during the days leading up to the August 5 special. Fans can unlock exclusive performances that will not be aired on television by posting on social media. Text the word FESTIVAL to 66937 for show updates and reminders.
Fans will have the opportunity to share their CMA Fest memories and possibly see their photos during the primetime special. Use the hashtag CMAFest on Instagam for a chance to be a part of the show.
CMA Fest benefits the The CMA Foundation's Keep the Music Playing Campaign. Over nine million dollars have been raised to date. The funds have been used to supply instruments and musical equipment for every Metro Nashville Public School.
"As Nashville's largest event, CMA Music Festival continues to offer new [url=http://www.brownsofficialnflauthentic.com/authentic-johnny-manziel-jersey.h... Manziel 3XL Jersey experiences and keep our visitors coming year after year," said Nashville Mayor Karl Dean.
According to a press release, four day ticket packages sold fifteen weeks in advance of the June 2014 event. Nearly eighty percent of available seats are already sold for the 2015 festival.
