Stann (11-3) has now won three straight since dropping down to middleweight and is showing that his fighting can match his Hollywood backstory as a war hero. A former WEC light-heavyweight champion, Stann is now a predatory middleweight with heavy hands. Renowned trainer Greg Jackson saw something in Stann several years ago and has spent the last three years helping refine his talent in Albuquerque, N.M. "He looks better every time he fights," said UFC president Dana White. "His story is great. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a home run. Hes gold, man. The guy can become a big superstar if he keeps fighting the way he is. "The other thing about him is he goes and fights, man. He goes out and tries to finish people ...
