Howard Kalish Biography

Howard Kalish is a well-respected fiddler and sideman who has performed alongside many great singers like Hank Thompson, Ray Price, Johnny Bush, and Cornell Hurd.  Born in Brooklyn, he spent years in Rhode Island and southern Michigan, before moving to California and becoming involved in the country and western scene there.  Howard played throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s with many bands and outfits, always treasuring his role as a sideman.  But by 2002, he decided to try his own thing out, and cut an album called "What The Hey."
